PICKING UP FROM 2023 ’ S DECLINE

What could happen this year in the EV sector ?
Towards the end of 2023 , demand increased for used electric cars , and the year also experienced an overwhelming shift of sentiments towards electrification . The number of sales fell sharply in October while new car registrations continued to rise , causing automakers to reduce their EV outputs and limit their investments until things played out .
This year , we ’ d expect that automotive manufacturers will look to encourage an incline — perhaps through partnerships with charging operators and a higher focus on their sourcing and design to navigate the constrained , high-value nature of the battery market .
Nevertheless , we ’ re hoping to cover new and exciting partnerships and developments as the year unfolds . Technology ’ s input will surely help build upon the great innovations so far .
