SKODA AND THE SHIFT TO LEADERSHIP
In 2000 , Thomas embarked on a new chapter in his career as the Head of Design at Skoda , a Volkswagen Group brand . His tenure at Skoda was marked by a series of transformative changes , where he redefined the brand ’ s image by infusing modern and dynamic design elements into its lineup . His work on the Skoda Octavia and Superb models was particularly impactful , earning widespread acclaim and significantly boosting the brand ’ s market perception .
VOLVO AND THE TRANSFORMATION
His career took a pivotal turn in 2012 when he was appointed Senior Vice President of Design at Volvo Cars . In this role , Thomas was responsible for the brand ’ s dramatic design overhaul , which became a cornerstone of Volvo ’ s resurgence in the global market .
