At NASA , McBride started out as a flight systems engineer in 1982 and progressed through the ranks for 40 years , rising to Centre Director .
Edwards has joined the company as Senior Vice President , Chief Human Resources Officer . She has three decades of experience in HR and a Master of Business Administration degree in International Business from Marquette University .
